This movie was shot in the Monteverde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica. Shrouded in mist and beset by sudden downpours, this forest is where I photographed the Green Violet Ear shown in my "Tropics" still shots. It's one of my favorite places to visit. Your best bet for seeing monkeys and other wildlife is to listen for their calls, then approach quietly along the trail.
